He had a microchip, but when we called the numbers and visited the listed address, they claimed they’d never owned a dog. They even said they don’t like dogs. In just two weeks, this sweet boy has made amazing progress: • Fully potty trained using a doggie door ✅ • Crate trained ✅ • Walks beautifully on a leash (he used to freeze—like he thought we were going to leave him 💔) • Knows “sit,” “stay,” “off,” “leave it” • Respects boundaries—never countersurfs, doesn’t steal food, and waits patiently for his own bowl (even with other dogs eating near him) • LOVES treats and takes them gently • Great with dogs of all sizes—never reactive, even when challenged • Respectful of cats (especially the one who gave him a good hiss-and-swat lesson 😅) • Obsessed with pack walks and couch cuddles • Always smiling.
