Emmy winner James Spader visits TODAY to talk about “The Blacklist,” in which he plays the infamous criminal James “Red” Reddington. He says that the two-part episode in which the series returns from hiatus delves into Red’s past and starts to make sense of it. Al Roker calls the episode “satisfying” and hints that he’d like a guest appearance on the show. “Boy did I leave myself open for that!” Spader laughs.
